I am a former high school history teacher, bibliophile, Hufflepuff, and general nerd with a major passion for Holocaust education. My anxiety tells me no one will actually read this, but I’m hoping that maybe someone will stumble upon this blog and learn something new and (who knows?) maybe save humanity somehow. (Ok that’s probably a stretch haha.)

My goal is to promote a sense of understanding about the Holocaust so that we can continue to strive for it to never happen again. I know that the world, unfortunately, is still dealing with genocide, hatred, racism, and other forms of bigotry- and that scares me. A lot. But I do believe that education is power. So here’s hoping we stop focusing so much on STEM that we forget to understand who our fellow travelers are on spaceship earth. We must remember the story of our past to help write the story of our future.
